Opportunity for Ph.D or M.Pharm, MSc, M.Tech as Research Associate at Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences

The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) has been established by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute, under the Societies act. The mission of ILBS is to become a dedicated international centre of excellence for the diagnosis, management and advanced training and research in the field of liver and biliary diseases. The first phase of ILBS is already functional having 180 hospital beds, 74 of which cater as intensive care (ICU) beds.

Post : Research Associate (No. of Post = 1)

Applications are invited for the following posts on contractual basis for the project entitled “Evaluation of the Efficacy of Albumin Gene Therapy Using Adeno Associated Virus 3 Vectors in animal models of Cirrhosis” latest by 28/Aug/2024 or 15 days from the date of advt. through the prescribed application form (appended below) at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, D-1, Vasant Kunj, Delhi-110070 along with a write-up (an idea which you would like to do).

Consolidated Remuneration per month (in INR) : Rs.58,000+applicable HRA
Eligibility Criteria/Qualification and Experience : Ph.D. (in a science or engineering subject) or MD/MS/MDS (in medical science subject) or ME/MTech/MPharm/MVSc with three years R&D experience as on the last date of application, evidenced from RAship or associateship or from date of registration of PhD. Other preferences: CSIR-NET Reasonable knowledge and experience in molecular biological techniques, ability to carry out cell culture, and virus isolation, a general knowledge in animal handling.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for applying for award of RA shall be 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes, physically handicapped and women applicants whereas 3 years in case of OBC (Non- Creamy Layer candidates).
