Project Description : This is a research project of the Multi Omics of Mothers and Infants (MOMI) on scaled up genomic analysis of mother-infant pairs in interdisciplinary Group for Advanced research on BirtH outcomes -DBT INdia Initiative (GARBH-Ini) cohort. In this project, innovative sequence based technologies and genomic data analysis will be used to enable early and effective risk stratification of mothers who may deliver preterm and facilitate timely referral to higher level care, which we believe will be a critical public health intervention. We are looking for bright and motivated early career researchers to join this project.

Consolidated Remuneration [INR] Per Month : Rs 42000/- plus 24% HRA
Essential Qualifications : 1) Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses selected through a process described through any one of the following: i) Scholars who are selected through CSIR- UGC NET including Lecturer ship and GATE. ii) The selection Process through National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR etc. 2) Minimum 2 years of research experience
Desirable Qualifications : 1) Hands on experience in next generation sequencing / microarray-based genotyping, conduct of GWAS/EWAS and genomic data analysis 2) Research experience in maternal and child health
Nature of Duty : 1) Hands on experiments on in next generation sequencing / microarray based genotyping, conduct of GWAS/EWAS and genomic data analysis 2) Scientific interpretation, preparation of scientific reports and manuscripts, any other work in the project assigned by PI
