Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Lucknow Advertisement No-05-Examination/2024, Junior Analyst (Drugs) under Main Examination (P.D.P.-2023)/05 under the control of Food Safety and Drug Administration, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Online applications are invited from citizens of India for selection on 361 posts. Shortlisting of the candidates for Junior Analyst (Pharmaceutical) Main Examination (P0P0-2023)/05 will be done on the basis of their Preliminary Eligibility Test-2023 (Preliminary Eligibility Test-PET-2023) score, so only those will be eligible to participate in this examination. Candidates can apply online who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test- PET-2023 (Preliminary Eligibility Test- PET-2023) and have been issued score card (with valid numerical score) by the commission. Candidates securing zero or less / negative marks in Absolute Score or Normalized Score in Preliminary Eligibility Test-2023 will not be shortlisted for Mains Examination.

Qualifications
Essential Qualification (Educational) - According to Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Analyst (Food and Drug Laboratory) Service Rules, 2017 as amended (Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Analyst (Food and Drug Laboratory) Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020), for direct recruitment to the post of Junior Analyst (Medicine) in the service, the candidate must have a graduate degree in Pharmacy from a university established by law in India or any qualification recognized by the government as equivalent to it.
Preferred Qualification- As per Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Analyst (Food and Drug Laboratory) Service Rules, 2017 as amended (Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Analyst (Food and Drug Laboratory) Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020), other things being equal, preference will be given in the case of direct recruitment to such candidate who -
1- Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 02 years, or
2- Has obtained 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps.
Age
According to the Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Analyst (Food and Drug Laboratory) Service Rules, 2017 as amended (Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Analyst (Food and Drug Laboratory) Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2020), it is necessary for direct recruitment that the candidate has attained the age of 21 years and not more than 40 years on the first July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised by the Commission for direct recruitment: But in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and such other categories as may be notified by the Government from time to time, the upper age limit will be that many years more.
Application Fee
Only online processing fee will be charged from the candidates for online application at the application stage, the category wise details of which are mentioned in the table below. In case of being shortlisted for the main examination, the examination fee for the main examination will be payable separately by the shortlisted candidates, which will have to be paid before downloading the admit card for the main examination.

• Dependents of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen, women, disabled and outstanding sports candidates will have to pay fee as per their original category mentioned.
• Examination fee for Main Examination will have to be paid separately only by the candidates shortlisted for Main Examination. The examination fee for the Main Examination (as determined by the Commission/Government) will be paid by the candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination before downloading the admit card for the Main Examination.

All the procedures for filling the application form can be completed by the candidate in one go. In the application process, the guidelines are given below for the candidates to fill the online application. So candidates should read the application process carefully before applying.
1. Candidates are expected to read the advertisement carefully and thoroughly understand that they possess the required mandatory qualifications (educational) and other qualifications for the advertised posts and fall under the prescribed age limit. Candidates start the process of filling the application form only if they possess the prescribed qualification and educational qualification mentioned in the advertisement.
2. It is mandatory for the candidate to acquire/possess the relevant compulsory qualification (educational) and other qualifications/qualifications and related certificates by the last date of application (18-05-2024).
3. Caste certificate/reservation related certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format printed in the appendix of this detailed advertisement and available on the website in support of the reserved category of the candidate seeking the benefit of reservation/relaxation in age limit, which is the date of application. or issued by the last date of application mentioned in the advertisement, must obtain and submit the said certificate to the Commission when required.
4. Applicants who are willing to apply under the Economically Weaker (EWS) category are required to apply between 01-04-2024 to 18-05-2024 (last date of application) before applying. Make sure to carry the issued EWS certificate, which is based on the income of the financial year 2023-24 and valid for the financial year 2024-25. Applicants of this category are presented with a certificate in the format prescribed by Uttar Pradesh Government Personnel Section-2 Order No. 3/2019/4/1/2002/ка-2/19 TC-11, dated 14-03-2019 It will be mandatory.
