Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is a premier institute of science and technology established in 2008. Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded research project with the following details.
Title of the Project : A Novel Lignin Reinforced Pullulan Bio-composite Film as Active Food Packaging Material

Minimum educational qualification :
(a) MTech in Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Food Technology/ Life Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or any other related area (or)
(b) MSc degree in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or any other related area and qualified GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DBT, DST, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc (need not be valid).
Desirable : Experience in Biomaterials synthesis, Microbial assays, and Food testing
Salary : Rs. 31,000 + HRA as applicable
Age : limit 35 Years
Tenure of employment : 12 months (Extendable by up to 24 months based on performance)
Mode of selection : Shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview
