The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the new state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

Post : Post Doctoral Fellow

Essential Qualifications and Experience :
• Ph.D. in Life Sciences from a government recognized University or research institution.
• At least one research article publication in a well reputed international journal.
• Expertise in any one or more of these areas: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Structural Biology, Computational Biology, Proteomics and Genomics.
• Candidates must be capable of conducting independent research under the mentorship of the PI, develop their own ideas and design experiments. They should be capable of working in a collaborative environment.

Position is for 2 years

Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest. Candidates with provisional certificate and candidates who have cleared the viva voce can apply. The later have to provide an official statement from their Institute confirming the same.

Consolidated Salary : Rs. 46,800/- per month. (Rs36000 + 30% HRA)
The work progress of the candidate will be monitored and extension after 1 year will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.

Candidates should report between 09.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. in Administration, 3rd floor, Paymaster Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the interview as well Candidates (from other state) has to make their own arrangement for accommodation/ stay in Navi Mumbai.

At the time of Interview the candidate should bring original certificates along with CV with contact details of 3 referees and submit the photocopies (attested) of the certificates, with a recent passport size photograph.
