Realising the importance of skill development in addressing the challenges of unemployment and to ensure gainful employment for the poor and vulnerable people, Skill Development Policy was notified by the State on 30.01.2009 with constitution of Skill Development Mission under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary.
Government of Haryana has set up Haryana Skill Development Mission in society mode for coordinating Skill Development in the State. Job role:
• To supervise execution of the programme in the State.
• Empanelment of TPs under HSDM.
• Monitoring of TP performance- Monitoring and evaluation of training outcomes, quality of trainings and infrastructure.

• Assisting the Mission in engaging short term specialists/consultants for undertaking special research studies/surveys etc.
