The Centre of Biomedical Research (CBMR) at Lucknow established with aims to promote and strengthen multidisciplinary areas of research and to create opportunity for extraordinary talented scientists to research at the interface between Chemical, Biological, Medical Sciences and NMR Spectroscopy. The centre focuses research in interfacing small molecule synthesis with Biology for developing future medicines and therapies. The government has generously invested in CBMR to create state-of-the-art facilities in molecular synthesis for Drug development and Discovery, Chemical Biology, Cell Biology, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and NMR Spectroscopy

Project Title, “Rational design of Inhibitors against Helicobacter pylori Hup: Implications In the development of next-generation antl-biotics".

Duration : Three years or up to tho termination of project, subject to annual performance review
Age Limit 28 years
Salary: As per norms of SERB, DST, India.
Academic Qualifications Required : For working In this project, the candidate should have M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Sciences) or M.Sc. In Zoology / Botany / Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnogy/ Biochemistry or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10). For SC/ST category, tho candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0 grade points on a scale of 10) In masters degree.
Desirable: Candidates having qualified CSIR / UGC JRF NET / GPAT / GATE and more than six month exposure to protein expression and purification techniques will be preferred.
