QUALIFICATION : Asstt. Professor
Bachelor and Master degree in Pharmacy with First class or equivalent either in Bachelor or Master degree
III. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. The vacant posts of Assistant Professors for various departments are as given in Section I: DETAILS OF VACANT POSTS. However, the number of posts may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Institute at the time of Interview/Appointment. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Women category shall be as per M.P. State Government Norms. SC/ST/OBC candidates of outside M.P. shall be considered under Unreserved (UR) category.
2. Qualification for various programs/disciplines shall be as per AICTE norms, as given in Section –II : QUALIFICAITON
3. The candidates who have obtained qualifying degree - UG/PG/Ph.D. from Institutions approved by AICTE/UGC/PCI as per rule shall only be considered for appointment.
4. Age Limit: Minimum age limit for the candidate as on 01/07/2017 is 21 years and maximum age limit is 40 years. Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be given as per the M. P. State Govt. rules.
5. The candidates who have applied earlier in response to Advertisement No.740 dated 27/07/2012; 3594 dated 22/02/2014 and 200 dated 01/05/2014 should submit a self-declaration in this regard and also fill up the online application form, however, they need not pay the application fee.

6. A candidate recruited as Assistant Professor shall be appointed initially for a period of three years on contract. On completion of this period, performance of the candidate shall be reviewed and, if found suitable, he/she shall be offered a regular appointment.
7. The Pay Scale for the Post of Asstt. Professor will be Rs. 15600-39100+6000. The selected candidates will be eligible for Contributory Provident Fund, Group Medical Insurance, Group Insurance, HRA and CCA as per prevailing rules of the Institute. However, as per the prevailing rules of M. P. State Government, they will not be eligible for Gratuity etc.
8. Higher starting salary in the pay scale may be considered for deserving candidates having higher qualification/experience.
9. All terms & conditions of the appointment shall be governed as per the prevailing rules of the Institute/M.P. State Government. Conduct of any person appointed under these rules shall be governed by the Madhya Pradesh Services (Conduct) rules 1965, as amended from time to time.
10. In Pharmacy for U. G. Program, the candidates should have the M. Pharm. Degree in the core branch of specialization namely Pharmaceutics (Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology)/Pharmacology/ Pharmacognosy / Pharmaceutical Chemistry commensurate with the need of the department in accordance with the prevailing scheme & syllabi. For the post under M. Pharm. (Industrial Pharmacy) program, candidates having industrial experience will be given preference.
11. Sleeper class TA will be reimbursed as per rules to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories of M. P. domicile called for Interview.
12. The Institute reserves the right to call only shortlisted candidates for Interview. Short listing may be done on the basis of written test, academic performance, experience, publications, higher qualification etc. as decided by the Institute. The Institute also reserves the rights to hold Interviews on priority for a particular discipline.
