About the conference
The field of Genomics & Pharmacogenomics is growing rapidly and its development is making tremendous impacts in medical sciences and pharmaceuticals. Pharmacogenomics uses information about a person's genetic makeup, or genome, to choose the drugs and drug doses that are likely to work best for that particular person. Genomic research has changed that "one size fits all" approach and opened the door to more personalized approaches for using and developing drugs. This new field combines the science of how drugs work, called pharmacology, with the science of the human genome, called genomics. It has made huge advancements over the course of time and is continuing to influence various sectors.
National Conference On
“Advances in Genomics & Pharmacogenomics in Global Health”
3rd & 4th August 2019
Aims Objectives:
Pharmacogenomics is the tailoring of drug treatments to people's genetic makeup, a form of 'personalised medicine'. This conference will upgrade professionals engaged in pre-clinical & clinical aspects of drugs with changed perspectives. It will also provide an opportunity to upgrade their knowledge of drug and thereby will help them go a long way in drug research using genomic & pharmacogenomic approaches. This conference will be organized and conducted in order
• to understand how genomic information can be used to develop more personalized and cost-effective strategies for using drugs to improve human health.
• to lead to better ways of using drugs to manage heart disease, cancer, asthma, depression and many other common diseases.
• to produce new drugs that are highly effective and do not cause serious side effects.
• to create a huge platform for scientists, professors, students and delegates to share their ideas and innovations and in turn enhance the progression of science and technology in both business and academia around the world.
• to bring together a unique and international mix of genome researchers, geneticists, molecular biologists, health-care industrialists, leading universities and research institutions making the conference a perfect platform to share experience, foster collaboration across industry and academia, and evaluate emerging technologies across the globe. This conference is targeted to students (B. Pharm,M.B.B.S.,B.Sc., M Pharm, M.Sc., M.S. Scholars), Academicians, Scientists, & Doctors who wish to get updated with this area .
