In a breakthrough, scientists have identified a tiny molecule that forces the HIV virus to open up and expose its vulnerable parts, allowing the immune system to kill the infected body cells. The finding opens a new path in the fight against HIV and could ultimately lead to the design of a vaccine to prevent transmission of the virus, researchers said.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the build up of extra fat in liver cells that is not caused by alcohol. It is normal for the liver to contain some fat. However, if more than 5% - 10% percent of the liver’s weight is fat, then it is called a fatty liver (steatosis).Sugar-sweetened beverages are a major dietary source of fructose, the sugar which is suspected of increasing risk of NAFLD because of how our bodies process it. The study appeared in the Journal of Hepatology.
