Job Description:
•Operational Management of outsourced Tox Studies for all NCE, DF, Derma and various collaborative projects
•Monitoring of Tox studies at CRO’s.
•Direct interaction with CRO's while conducting tox studies
•Review of tox study protocols
•Review of toxicology data/reports
•Providing inputs on Tox sections in documents for regulatory submissions eg. IND.
•Reviewing literature of drugs and providing data on safety related aspects
•Strong interest in toxicology of laboratory animals
•Experience in rodent/non rodent toxicology including general toxicology, Genetic toxicology and Safety Pharmacology in Pharma industry or Preclinical CRO’s preferred.
•Basic understanding of GLP regulations
•A strong working knowledge of PK/PD, and ADME is an added advantage
•Basic understanding of national & international regulatory guidelines •Excellent communication/presentation skills.
•Computer literate
