The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009) as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The President of India, His Excellency Shri Ram Nath Kovind, is the Visitor of the CURAJ. Prof. Anand Bhalerao is the Vice Chancellor of the University. CURAJ is located in Ajmer district of Rajasthan.
Post : Project Research Scientist- I (01 post)
Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I on contract basis to work on the ICMR sponsored research project entitled “Design synthesis and preclinical evaluation of next generation PET radiotracers using hydrophobic linker tethered metal chelators for theranostic targeting fibroblast activation protein” (EM/Dev/SG/62/3497/2023) sanctioned to Dr. Devesh M. Sawant, Assistant Professor in Department of Pharmacy at the Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ).
Essential Qualification : M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) / M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) (minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA). Desirable : Working experience in the area of synthetic organic chemistry preferably Industrial/Research experience in synthetic lab for 2 years is desirable.
Tenure : The initial offer will be for one year and renewable for up to another two years subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project
Consolidated Salary (p.m.) : Rs. 56,000/- + 18% HRA per month (Consolidated)
Age Limit : The upper age limit for the fellowship is 35 years on 9th May 2024

Sawant) via email (dms@curaj.ac.in) on or before 9th May 2024 with the subject of the mail as ‘Application for Project Research Scientist-I (Non- Medical)-ICMR Project’. Mere possession of the minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit and as per the project requirement.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The date of the Interview will be notified separately. The interviews will be held in the Department of Pharmacy, Central University of Rajasthan Campus. No TA/DA will be given to the candidate participating in the interview.
In the event of offering the appointment letter to the selected candidate, the candidate must join in person at Central University of Rajasthan for the fellowship to be effective. Notably, original mark sheets and relevant certificates of educational qualification of the selected candidate will be verified prior to offer the position.
