Applications are invited for the posts of Contract Teachers in various University Teaching Departments on consolidated salary of Rs. 21,600/- p.m. The Qualifications required are as per UGC Regulation 2010, subsequently amended (AICTE norms for AICTE approved Programmes) prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor.

Only eligible applicants, as per UGC Regulation 2010(AICTE norms for AICTE approved Programmes /School of Studies) shall be called for interview. University decision for ascertaining eligibility shall be final. Application form can be downloaded from the website. Application processing fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs.400/-(Four Hundred) & Rs.100/-(One Hundred) for SC/ST applicants, needs to be enclosed with the application form. Qualifications as per U.G.C. Regulation for Assistant Professor Subject(s) of  Life Sciences
Essential
i. Good academic record, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test like SLET/SET. Accredited by the UGC.
iii Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation 2010 University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Lecturer / Assistant Professor.
iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Essential
1. First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology. OR A Ph.D. degree in applied biological sciences such as Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy and Biophysics OR
Good academic record, as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant subject conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation 2010 University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/College/Institutions.

Note:

1-The selection to the Contact Teachers will be done after acceptance of the recommendations of the selection committee for the respective posts by the University statutory bodies. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill up any of the vacancies advertised if the circumstances so warrant. Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of interview may also be filled up from the available candidates. The number of positions may change.

2-All applicants are required to keep track of the University web site at regular intervals for further information, if any. University will not send any letter to individuals.

3-All applications will be screened and only the limited and eligible applicants will be called for interview for the selection as contract teacher. University decision for ascertaining eligibility and limiting the applicants to be called for interview shall be binding. Merely submitting an application by due date does not entitle a candidate for calling for the interview and claim the selection to the contractual position.

4-University reserves right to fill in vacancies as per requirement.

5-Contract will be for six months only. It may be extended further but it no case beyond three years or till the position is filled as per Ordinance 4 / M.P. Universities Act, Section 49, whichever is earlier.

6- Candidate is required to attend the interview, as per specified schedule.(posted on webiste)

7- Application not in prescribed form or incomplete or unsigned without processing fee shall not be accepted.

8-Applicants are required to bring all original certificates, mark sheets, four sets of copies of the applications submitted by them earlier, with all supported documents at the time of interview.

9- T.A. will be admissible to SC/ST applicants (of M.P. Domicile only), as per State Govt. Rules. 10- Application-processing fee is to be paid in the form of Demand Draft of Rs.400/- and Rs.100/- for SC/ST applicants.

12-If any candidate desires to apply in more than one departments, he/she is required to submit separate application form along with DD & supported documents.

13. Reservations will be as per State Govt. Rules 14-Convassing in any manner will be treated as disqualification. Indication:- UR-Unreserved, SCScheduled Caste, ST-Scheduled Tribe, OBC-Other Back ward Class, F – Female.
