Roorkee College of pharmacy , Roorkee (RCP) is a Christian minority educational institution has been set up in Uttarakhand state under the August Aegis of Noble Christian Education & Religious Trust conceptualized in year 2003, with the mission to develop skilled, educated and dedicated manpower in the area, especially in the field of pharmacy . RCP is committed to impart career oriented and quality education to the youth.

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first Institute of its kind to be set up at in the State of Bihar in the year 2007. It is an autonomous institution of national importance, established under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India under NIPER Act 1998 at Hajipur in Vaishali District of Bihar.

As a step to elevate quality in higher education learning in Rajasthan, the state government decided to offer university status to a few eminent education institutions in the state. Gyan Vihar University was established by the Government of Rajasthan.
