Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The Laboratory was established in 1941 as a research and production centre, known as Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State and was later taken over by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of Govt. of India in December 1957 as Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu. In view of its core strength in natural products based drug discovery, the mandate of Institute was redefined in 2005 and its name changed to Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine.

One Beat college of medical sciences (OBCMS) is established in the year 2019 in the Bhira village of district Lakhimpur Kheri,U.P. OBCMS is managed by Dasmesh Charitable Hospital society, Bhira with the prime objective to provide best pharmaceutical education both Degree and Diploma to promote research and development activities. The institute has the vision to produce world-class, competent pharmacists who will make a long-lasting impact in the field of pharmaceutical and health sciences.

The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission. The university caters to the tribals long cherished dream of higher education.

Established in the year 2017, B.P.S Educational Institution of Pharmacy is a world class academic unit imparting educational, research and outreach programs in the domain of pharmacy keeping in view the growing convergence of healthcare and technology.
