The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Chennai, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India proposes to engage the services of the following personnel on contract basis, as per the details given below. The engagement will be purely on contract basis, initially for a period of one year. The selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-Interview to be held on the dates noted thereagainst, in the Central Council for Research in Siddha, SCRI Building (III Floor), Anna Government Hospital Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106. A written test will be held, if need be, depending on the number of candidates, followed by the interview on the same day, of those candidates, who qualify in the written test. The decision of the Competent Authority will be final in this regard.

The Tuberculosis Research Centre (TRC), a permanent institute under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), is an internationally recognizAACed institution for Tuberculosis (TB) research. It is a Supranational Reference Laboratory and a WHO Collaborating Cenactrea for TB Research and Training. Recently, an International Centre for Excellence in Research (ICER) in collaboration with NIH was established at the Centre.

Applications are invited up to 17.04.2017 for the following posts to be filled purely on temporary basis under “STREAM STAGE II” Project and its sub-centres in Chennai, Vellore and Madurai, implemented by this Institute.

The “Central Government Health Scheme” (CGHS) for the Central Govt. employees and their dependents was started in New Delhi in 1954. Subsequently, the scheme was extended to pensioners, freedom fighters and other specific groups of people. The scheme was introduced in Chennai in the year 1975, with 4 dispensaries to begin with. CGHS wellness centers are the backbone of the Scheme and provide health services to the beneficiaries. At present there are 14 wellness centres at CGHS Chennai covering the entire metropolitan city including suburban areas like Avadi.

Siddha system of Medicine, Govt. of India, by  bifurcating the erstwhile CCRAS, formed CCRS (Central Council for Research in Siddha) with its headquarters in Chennai and six Research Institutes/Units in four states namely, Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Mettur & Palayamkottai), Puducherry (Puducherry), New Delhi and Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram). Siddha is a science of holistic health emphasising both drug and diet for human health care.

Walk in interview for various posts required in IMR research projects will be held in the above address as per details given below. Relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI Rules. Central Drugs Testing Laboratory, Chennai is a Statutory Laboratory working under administrative control of Drugs Controller General (India), CDSCO, DGHS, M/o.Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. Application from eligible candidates are invited in the prescribed format for the Recruitment to the following post at Central Drugs Testing Laboratory, Chennai. The appointment to the following post is purely on contractual basis for one year with effect from 01.01.2017 to 31.12.2017. The contractual period may be reduced or extended at the sole discretion of the management (CDSCO, HQ). During the contract period the services can be terminated without any notice or without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
