Guided by focused vision and dedicated research and academics efforts, Rishiraj College of Pharmacy (LNCT Group of Institution) founded in the year 2004, has established its own identity in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences and technology in Indore. The University formerly known as Bhopal University was established in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. In 1988, it was rechristened as the Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, in the living memory of the great freedom fighter,   Prof. Barkatullah belonged to Bhopal.
The University campus, covering an area of approx. 360 acres of land, is located along Jabalpur-Jaipur National  highway(NH-12) at a distance of about 3 kms. In view of providing the students best educational environment, the institute has modem well designed and very well equipped laboratories in addition to the spacious class room, ethically approved animal house and conference hall.

Assam Petrochemicals Limited was conceived for productive utilization of natural gas, which was being flared up in the Upper Assam oil fields. Only a small quantum of natural gas was then used in fertilizer industry and power generation. To prevent this colossal wastage, the company was set up by the State Government of Assam with joint participation of Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (AIDC) and the public. Incorporated in 1971, the company was a pioneer in the field as it was the first to manufacture petrochemicals in India using natural gas as feedstock. It started with a small Methanol plant with Formaldehyde and a few Urea Formaldehyde resins as downstream projects with technology supplied by Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals Co. Inc, Japan. Commercial production began in 1976.

The Smt. N. M. Padalia Pharmacy College offers the four year Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). The institute admits 60 students for B.Pharmacy course (PCI approved).
