It is also registered under section 12(a)of Income Tax Act 1961 and is exempted u/s 80G of the said Act by the Income Tax Commissioner, Pune.

Dr. Pramod Uttamrao Shinde, the President of society is the eminent social worker of the Aurangabad region.

CMR College of Pharmacy sponsored by the M.G.R. Educational Society and was established in the year 2005 with the objectives of providing quality education in the field of Pharmacy to the students of rural and urban areas. The college offers B. Pharm., Pharm. D., and M. Pharm in the specializations of Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. The college accorded the approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
