BIBCOL is a Central Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology located at Village Chola, District Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh). It is about one hour drive from Delhi/NOIDA and close to NCR. Company was set up in the year 1989 for production of Oral Polio Vaccine and R&D in Immunologicals and Biologicals. The current product portfolio includes Oral Polio Vaccine, Zinc Tablets, Low Calories Sweetener, Hand Sanitizer and BIBVIT tablets.

Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. IPC is created to set standards of drugs in the country. Its basic function is to update regularly the standards of drugs commonly required for treatment of diseases prevailing in this region. It publishes official documents for improving Quality of Medicines by way of adding new and updating existing monographs in the form of Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP).

Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited, KAPL Bengaluru is a Government of India Enterprise. Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited is a Joint Sector Company of Government of India with shareholding from Government of Karnataka through Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation KSIIDC.
