Walk in interview for Siddha Pharmacist in CCRS

The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Chennai, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India proposes to engage the services of two Siddha Pharmacists in SRRI, Puducherry. The engagement will be purely on contract basis, initially for a period of six months. The selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-Interview to be held on Thursday, the 30th July, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Central Council for Research in Siddha, SCRI Building, Anna Government Hospital Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106.

The Union Cabinet vide its decision dated 1st May 2013 has approved the launch of National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) as a Sub-mission of an over-arching National Health Mission (NHM), with National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) being the other Sub-mission of National Health Mission. Within the broad national parameters and priorities, states would have the flexibility to plan and implement state specific action plans. The state PIP would spell out the key strategies, activities undertaken, budgetary requirements and key health outputs and outcomes.

An autonomous body under the AYUSH department of Union Health Ministry is planning to tieup with top homeopathy research organisations with an aim of boosting the healthcare industry. The Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH), the autonomous body under AYUSH, has called for further research to promote this system of medicine, said Dr R K Manchanda, Director General of CCRH.

The government gave its approval for signing of an agreement with Mauritius on cooperation in traditional medicine systems and homoepathy. In a meeting, the Union cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave its approval for the memorandum of understanding between the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of traditional medicine including medicinal plants, Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said told reporters.
