Situated at Belagavi in Karnataka, the ICMR-National Institute of Traditional Medicine (Formerly known as RMRC Belagavi) conducts research on traditional and herbal medicines and on diseases of local health importance.The Institute is envisaged as a major Resource Centre for development of herbal technologies and products for prevention and treatment of major diseases including metabolic and hepatic disorders, ulcer, enteric diseases etc.

Established in 1955 by the visionary industrialist Mr. BM Birla, BIT Mesra was founded with a clear vision to offer its young minds a space, where their imagination could take wings and their ideas fruition. For over 6 decades now, the institute has nurtured minds with a rich heritage of academic excellence, developing learning frameworks that have been well ahead of times.

TMC is an autonomous body funded, controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI).

DEEP (DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS FOR RURAL ECONOMY AND PEOPLE) is a Secular, Not -for-Profit, Non Government Organisation promoted by Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited and is being set up for Social Development with the active participation of local communities. DEEP operates in 18 villages of Mangrol taluka and 5 villages of Mandvi taluka in Surat District and 6 villages of Valia taluka in Bharuch District. DEEP works in close coordination with the local community in areas including Health, Education, Village Infrastructure Development, Livelihood etc.
