National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an ‘Institute of National Importance’.

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt.

Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine (PCIM) is an autonomous body established in 2010 with the approval of Govt, of India with an objective to develop Pharmacopoeial Standards for Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani drugs and to publish Ayurvedic, Unani and Siddha Pharmacopoeia of India for the promotion of Quality and Safety of ASU Drugs for the furtherance of provisions of Chapter- IV-Aof Drugs and CosmeticsAct-1940and Rules-1945 for Ayurvedic, Unani and Siddha drugs.

The Gujarat Agricultural University was established in February 1972 with the Statewide mandate for the triple function of Agricultural Education, Research and Extension Education. For strengthening of these activities at regional level, the Gujarat Agricultural University is separated in to four different Agricultural Universities in the State by Gujarat Agricultural University Act-2004. Junagadh Agricultural University is one of them, which came in to existence from 1st May, 2004.

SCOPE was established in the year 1999, under the banner of B. R. Nahata Smriti Sansthan in the memory of great social leader, renowned parliamentarian and educationalist, Late "Shri Bhanwarlalji Nahata". The institute is solely dedicated to Noble Profession of Pharmacy.

In October 1990 the B. V. Patel Education Trust in conjuncture with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association established B. V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education & Research Development (PERD) Centre, in the memory of late Mr. B. V. Patel, the first Drug Controller of Gujarat.

MORADABAD EDUCATIONAL TRUST (MET) was established in the year 1996 and started 4 year degree course in Pharmacy in 2009(B.Pharm) under the banner of Faculty of Pharmacy. The institution is situated on the bank of holy river Ram Ganga in the Brass city of India.
