Indian Council of Medical Research is a premier medical research organization under the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, dealing with health research in various areas in collaboration with national international agencies through its 32 Institutes/Centres including a large number of field stations situated all over the country. India Biotechnology Regulations implemented under Rules, 1989 of the Environment Protection Act, 1986 are dynamic and complementing with emerging technologies used for research, product development and progress in science of risk assessment. Government of India has undertaken several reforms in biotechnology regulatory system. To assist Review Committee on Genetic Manipulation (RCGM), a project ”Establishment of Biosafety Support Unit (BSU)” with trained and skilled scientists with specialization in relevant scientific disciplines is being implemented at Regional Centre for Biotechnology. BSU has been assisting in scrutiny of applications received for risk assessment and preparation of reports to facilitate decision making by the competent bodies.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for contractual positions i.e Chief Scientific Officer – 01, Scientist (Pharma Biotechnology)-01 in the project titled “Establishment of Biosafety Support Unit (BSU)”. Tasks of Chief Scientific Officer and Scientists are enclosed at Annexure-I. The positions are purely on contract basis and will be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed by Regional Centre of Biotechnology, Faridabad for contract positions.

Run by Maa Gangey Prasidhey Education Foundation, a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 , Shree Dev Bhoomi Institute of Education, Science & Technology, Vill. SBS College of Pharmacy has come a long way since its inception in 1986 and is a non-government Post Graduate (M.Pharm), Graduate / Degree (B. Pharm) and Diploma (D.Pharm) level technology and Pharmaceutical Research Institute. It is administered by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Educational Society. SBS College of Pharmacy, Patti was established as a diploma level professional institute in 1986 for undertaking diploma courses. Further it established its degree level programme in Pharmacy in 2001.
