The Andaman & Nicobar Islands is a union territory of India. This territory is known as A & N Islands, or ANI. It is located in the Indian Ocean, in the southern reaches of the Bay of Bengal, nearer to Indonesia and Thailand. This comprises of two island groups - the Andaman Islands and the Nicobar Islands - which separates the Andaman Sea to the east from the Indian Ocean. These two groups are separated by the 10° N parallel, the Andamans lying to the north of this latitude, and the Nicobars to the south.

The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram is an internationally recognised centre providing state-of-the-art facilities for cancer diagnosis, treatment, palliation and rehabilitation and conducting a wide range of research on various type of cancers.  This state-owned premier cancer care hospital and research centre is one among 28 centres in India operating under the 'National Cancer Control Programme' of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.

The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

In pursuance to Govt. Order No. 442 HME of 24.04.2019, and DHS-J/Sch/PMBJAK/3129-39 Dated:02-01-21 WALK IN INTERVIEW for the below mentioned posts will be held for the pharmacists registered with Pharmacy Council of J&K for running Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra to work on Profit sharing basis on temporary basis on 20th March 2023.
