Tata Memorial Centre is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). National Institute for Implementation Research on Non-Communicable Diseases (NIIRNCD), Jodhpur, is a research Institute under the aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The Institute, located in Jodhpur, came into existence on the 7th of December 2019, replacing the erstwhile Desert Medicine Research Centre.
