The CIMAP Research Center at Bangalore (then CIMPO, South Zonal Centre) was established in the year 1959. The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) - Ahmedabad is an Institute of National importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India.

Applications are invited from the citizen of India for filling up the following temporary position in this Institute. The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 01 Year, and further extendable based on exemplary performance of the candidate.

The ECHS Central Organisation is located at Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. NIPER Ahmedabad was initiated with three specializations Biotechnology, Natural Products and Pharmaceutics and over the period of time three more specialisations Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology and Toxicology were added in 2010.
