The Institute of Pharmacy has been established with a view to promote excellence in pharmaceutical education and to prepare young men and women to meet the challenges in the area of pharmaceutical industries, education, research and development and marketing. We aim to provide degree, postgraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral level education at this centre of excellence. The pharmacy profession in Gujarat and western part of India has been striving for such a centre and establishment of IP. has come at such a time when the pharmaceutical industry and education are poised to face global challenges and changed perspectives.
OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE
To facilitate up gradation of knowledge and skill of the teachers employed in Department of Pharmacognosy / Phytochermstry In vanous Pharmacy Colleges of country.
To provide practical training opportunities for leachers & Junior Scientists who are involved in R&D of Herbal drugs/Natural products.
To develop new concepts, methodology and techniques In research paradigm In Natural Products Research.
To provide in-depth concept & recent advances in herbal drugs.
