The 7th Nirma Institute of Pharmacy International Conference (NIPiCON 2024), held from February 7th to 9th, 2024, organized by the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, focused on the theme "NextGen Therapeutics: Multidisciplinary Research Approaches for Drug Development and Delivery - Bridging the gaps from drug discovery to patient care”. This landmark event convened a diverse assembly of experts, scientists, and academicians from across the globe to deliberate on the latest advancements and challenges in the pharmaceutical sector.
NIPiCON 2024 served as a pivotal forum for knowledge dissemination, networking, and collaborative endeavours aimed at shaping the trajectory of pharmacy practice and the healthcare sector. Distinguished speakers and scholars from nations including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, France and Qatar delivered insightful talks, exploring cutting-edge breakthroughs within the pharmaceutical domain. The conference drew the enthusiastic participation of approximately 500 delegates from various regions of India and beyond.
The conference reached its apex with the Valedictory function on 9th February 2024, graced by the esteemed presence of Dr.PuranSahu, Director & I/c CEO, National Dope Testing Laboratory, Government of India, New Delhi, and Prof. Rosnah Zain, Deputy Vice Chancellor, MAHSA University, Malaysia. Dr.PuranSahu captivated the audience with his discourse on the multifaceted aspects of dope testing and its research prospects.
Prof. Rosnah Zain underscored the imperative of collaborative research in the pharmaceutical field to foster innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. The event also featured the recognition and awarding of certificates and prizes to the victors of the scientific poster competition and oral presentations.
