The 7th Annual Pharma Project and Portfolio Management 2024, held at Fairfield By Marriott in South Goa from January 17th to 19th, 2024, marked a significant milestone as of the best EBM event to date. Addressing challenging R&D project issues, the conference offered a comprehensive program to tackle industry pain points and enhance understanding of intellectual property (IP) and portfolio dynamics within the global pharma sector.
Kicking off with a keynote address from Ms. Guneet Kaur Hayer, Managing Director of Eminence Business Media, the conference set the stage for an exceptional three-day learning experience. Day one featured sessions led by industry experts such as Dr. Santanu De from MSN Labs, Dr. Debjani Banerjee from Glenmark Pharma, Dr. Dhananjay Sathe from Unichem Labs, Purab Jajoo from Amneal Pharma, Mike Teiler from Levicure, and Dhanashree Tukaye from Novartis. The third and final day emphasized core project management concepts, featuring sessions on strategies, PMP practices, PMBoK, CCPM, and backup plan management by experts like Dr. Laila Fatima from Novartis, Jimmy Kotecha from Biocon Biologics, Kumaran Venugopal from MSN Labs, Prashant Kane from Sun Pharma, and Jayesh Khatri from Ashish Life Sciences. A case study session on solving project management challenges, facilitated by Kartik Shivkumar from Dr. Reddy’s Labs and Amit Sharma from Fresenius Kabi, was also part of the day.
