Academically Announces Outstanding KAPS 2024 Results and OPRA Exam Transition

Academically, a pioneering healthcare EdTech company, proudly shares the exciting news of its students' exceptional performance in the final KAPS (Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Sciences) exam before transitioning to the OPRA (Overseas Pharmacists Readiness Assessment). Held on 25th November 2024, this final edition of the exam saw Academically students achieving a remarkable success rate of 90.51%.

Thanks to the comprehensive KAPS Exam preparation course, students excelled in the KAPS exam, continuing Academically’s tradition of exceptional results. This success reflects the dedication of students as well as Academically’s Australian KAPS faculty.   faculty at the organisation, who supported students every step of the way. End of KAPS and Introduction of OPRA
The November 2024 exam marked the conclusion of the KAPS era. Starting March 2025, the Australian Pharmacy Council will replace KAPS with the OPRA exam, reflecting updates to better align with the practical demands of the pharmacy profession.


Key updates in the OPRA exam include
• A single-paper format featuring 120 questions.
• Implementation of the Rasch scoring methodology.
• Reduced exam fees of AUD 2,190.
• Revised focus on therapeutics and the practical application of pharmaceutical knowledge.
Despite these changes, the difficulty level, eligibility criteria, and registration process remain unchanged.
