Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
A brief summary of the purpose this position must fulfill.
- The function of this position is to provide mission-critical, cross-functional project and program management oversight for Mylan development programs in alignment with the Global Biologics strategy.
- The position will routinely work with technical development, quality assurance, preclinical, clinical and regulatory functions to co-ordinate, generate, document and update integrated product development planning.
- Additionally, the incumbent of this role will contribute to, and participate in the development and roll-out of project and program management initiatives across the Global Biologics organization.
- Prior exposure and experience related to Global Biologics / Biosimilars development programs (Monoclonal Antibodies & Other complex recombinant proteins) will be considered an advantage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Co-ordinate the development, documentation and updating of integrated product development plans.

Proactively monitors execution and performance across all functions against agreed development plans and budgets identifying and appropriately escalating issues with the potential to impact on time, scope, budget and quality.

Co-ordinate and liaise with functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution and assessment of issue impact on time lines.

Contribute to and participate in regular project review meetings and the generation of status reports.

Proactively incorporate learnings to establish new process or to improve and influence project and program management processes.

Establish and maintain awareness of general regulatory guidance and scientific knowledge relevant to development of biosimilar products.

Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Management.

Desired Skills & Experience
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and preferably Masters degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or related scientific/technical background. Additional formal qualification in either project management or business administration would be an advantage
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the biotechnology/ pharmaceutical industry, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project or program management function developing biopharmaceutical products for US and/or EU.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong interpersonal skills – communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. The ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix structure is essential. Detail oriented approach with the ability to step back to see the bigger picture. The ability to quickly grasp which tasks and issues are critical to execution and delivery according to plan. Ability to work across functions and with teams that are based in different geographical locations. A commitment to delivering timely and accurate information to support critical decision making. Persistence and perseverance.
