APPLICATION INVITED FOR CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT OF FOLLOWING POSTS FOR STATE PHARMACOPOEIAL LABORATORY AND PHARMACY FOR INDIAN MEDICINE (SPLPIM), KALYANI, NADIA, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.
Applications in the prescribed proform a given below are invited from the eligible candidates for contractual ongagomont to tho following posts at SPLPIM, Kalyani,Nadia.
Post: Deputy Manager, Scientific Officer, Machine Operator, Scientific Assistant (8- Posts)
1)Deputy Manager (Ayurveda) - O1(One) Post
Qualification:
Essential:
i) A degree in Ayurved of recognized University or any other qualifications included in Part (a) of the Schedule to the Paschim Banga Ayurvedic System of Medicine Act,1961 (West Bengal Act-XIII of 1961).
ii) Five years experience in a responsible position in a Big Rasasala. The period of experience is relax able for otherwise well qualified and experience candidates.
Desirable:
i) Post graduated qualification in Ayurveda.
ii) Administrative experience.
Age- Not more than 45 years as on 1st January, 2012, relax able for otherwise well qualified and experienced candidates.
Pay : Contractual remuneration will be the basic pay (initial pay of the pay band of Rs. 15600 - 42000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400A) plus dearness allowance and other allowances i.e. H.R.A. and M.A. on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement.
Note: Selected Candidate shall prior to joining produce a Certificate of registration with the Paschim Banga Ayurved Parishad.
2) Scientific Officer-O1(One) Post:
Qualification:-
i) A Post graduate degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy (Ayurveda) or Science Specialized in Pharmacognosy/ Chemistry/ Micro-biology/ Botany or Medicine (ISM) of a University established in India by law and has had not less than eighteen months' experience in regular Research in University or Testing of Drugs in an approved Laboratory.
ii) Speaking in English & Bengali essential.
Age- Not more than 37 years on 1st January of 2012, relax able for the persons holding substantive appointment under the Government of West Bengal and for the persons having higher qualifications and / or longer experience than those prescribed.
Pay : Contractual remuneration will be the basic pay (initial pay of the pay band of Rs.15600 - 42000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-) plus dearness allowance and other allowances i.e. H.R.A. and M.A. on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement.

3) Machine Operator-04(Four) Posts: (01-S.C. & 01-S.T. Reserved)
Qualification: Class-Viii passed, having proficiency in the work and at least 3 years experience in operating machines relating to preparatien of Ayurvedic medicines in a Public Sector firm or a firm of repute.
Not more than 40 years of the 1st day of January, 2012. Relax able imrter normal rules
Pay: Contractual remuneration will be the basic pay (initial pay of the pay band of Rs. 5400 - 25200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.2300/-) plus dearness allowance and other allowances i.e. H.R.A. and M.A. on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement.
4) Scientific Assistant- 02 (Two) Posts: (01-S.C. Reserved)
Qualification:- B.Sc. with Chemistry and Botany as compulsory subject and having 3 years experience as approved Chemist in Ayurvedic Drug Manufacturing firm.
Age- Not more than 35 years on 1st day of January, 2012.Relax able as per normal rules.
Pay : Contractual remuneration will be the basic pay (initial pay of the pay band of Rs.7100 - 37600/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.4100/-) plus dearness allowance and other allowances i.e. H.R.A. and M.A. on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement
GENERAL INSTRUCTION:
1. The words "Application for the post of .........." should be written on the front side of the envelop containing the application and should be sent by Registered post so as to reach this office on or before 27th September2012.
2. Self attested copies of certificates issued by the appropriate authority in respect of age, caste, qualification, registration and experience should be enclosed with the application. All Original testimonials should be brought by the candidate for verification by the authority when called for counseling. Incomplete application or non- submission of essential document will be liable for cancellation of the application.
3. Selection will be made strictly on merit and interview basis. Decision of the recruitment committee will be final.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection or counseling.
