Job Description:
To ensure quality of raw materials, in process materials and finished products as per the ANI standards through accurate and timely analysis and enable customer departments take timely corrective actions and actively participation in troubleshooting. Contribute in protecting reputation of the organization by ensuring right quality product through precise measurement.,
Dimensions of the Job
• Jhagadia site will have wet processing section, Evaporator section, Drier section, Dry blending section, the incmbat will have to provide analytical support to all the sections of manufacturing in the shift
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Function:
• The position holder is responsible for analysis of in process samples being manufactured in all sections, Apart from finished products job holder is responsible for analysis of analysis of intermediate products & a few major raw materials as well as conducting in process checks during shift operation
• Position holder is responsible for smooth operation of analytical laboratory, calibration of measurement equipments in labs and manufacturing areas
• The position holder looks after the functioning of QA equipments in unit labs in shifts & is responsible for the maintenance & proper operation of equipments, monitors the requirement of lab supplies on daily
• Ensure right product quality is released for market by carrying out the timely and accurate analysis of all the finished products in shifts and timely feedback to Production on quality trends.
• To ensure right quality in process by performing the analysis of intermediate products and in process checks to ensure the conformity to specified norms & timely information to concerned departments.
• Ensure accuracy of measurement by carrying out the calibration of all the equipments and measuring instruments in labs as per specified norms
• To maintain and upkeep the hygiene, cleanliness and work place safety in lab
• To ensure adherence to EHS guidelines, focusing on safe working environment and complying with EHS audit citations pertaining to Quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis for deviations and carry out trouble shooting with Manufacturing as well as Engineering.
• Achieve high level of repetability and reproduciability of analytical results, demonstrate active participation in Inter laboratory error control
Candidate Profile:
• Post graduate in Chemistry/ Dairy chemistry/ Food science with 1-2 years experience in food industry or Graduate in Chemistry/ Food science with 3-4 years experience in food industry
• Hands on experience on BIS analytical methods applicable to Infant formulation
• Knowledge of analytical procedures/ operating methods of equipments. Quality Management System & ISO-9001-2000 requirements
• Knowledge of QA checks regarding finished product & in-process checks.
• Knowledge Lean Sigma Tools & Operational Excellence.
• Knowledge of safety aspects of QA Labs. / GMP requirements in a food processing industry.
