NIPER Kolkata has established Centre for Marine therapeutics (CMT), and is involved in development of new process for Marine Therapeutics, New Chemical Entity (NCE) from Marine sources.

Danteswari College of Pharmacy is established in the year 2019, at Borpadar, Near Jagdalpur, District: Bastar, Chhattisgarh under the aegis of Shaina Educational Trust. The institute offers 2 years D. Pharm (60 Seats), & 4 years B. Pharm (100 Seats)  courses in pharmacy from 2019-20 with approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India(PCI) & affiliated to Chattishgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU).
