(a) Ph.D in Bio-Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution.
(b) 2 years Research/Teaching experience in the Bio-Chemistry in a recognized Institution/College/University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu/Persian/Arabic
2. Research Officer (Botany): 01 Post SC-1

(a) Masters Degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
(b) 5 years Research/Teaching experience in the concerned discipline after obtaining the Master Degree in a recognized Institution/College/University.
OR
(a) Ph.D in the concerned discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
(b) 2 years Research/Teaching experience in the concerned discipline in a recognized Institute/ University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu, Arabic, Persian.
3. Research Officer (Pathology): 08 Posts (UR-02,OBC-3, SC-02, ST-01)

(a) MBBS Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
(b) 2 years Research/Teaching experience in pathology after obtaining the MBBS Degree in a recognized Hospital/Institution.

(a) Post Graduate Degree of minimum of 2 years duration in Pathology from recognized University/Institution.
Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu, Arabic, Persian.
4. Assistant Editor: 01 Post UR-01
1. Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800+4600 (Grade Pay)
2. Age: Upto 30 years
Educational Qualifications:
Essential:
(a) Masters Degree from a recognized University.
(b) Diploma/Degree in Journalism from a recognised University/Institution.
(c) 3 years’ experience in writing/editing/translation with a reputed publishing house or Newspaper/Journal of standing.
(d) Proficiency in English and Urdu.
5. Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacognosy): 02 Posts OBC-1, UR-1
1. Scale of Pay: Rs. 9300-34800+4600 (G.P.)
2. Age: Upto 35 years.

(a). Masters Degree in Statistics/Mathematics with statistics as one of the subject from a recognized University/Institution.
(b) 3 years’ experience in Statistical work involving collection, compilation interpretation of statistical data Preferably in the field of medical and health statistics in a recognized Institution.
OR
(a) Ph.D in statistics from a recognized University/Institution.
Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Urdu, Arabic, Persian. (ii) Knowledge of Computer.

7. Research Assistant (Botany): 02 Posts OBC-1, UR-1

Educational Qualifications:
Essential:
(a) Post Graduate degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
(b) Aptitude for Research.
Desirable: Knowledge of English, Urdu/ Arabic/ Persian.
Application forms may either be download from the website of the Council ccrum.net or may be obtained by sending a self-addressed envelope (23x10) stamped with postage stamp for the Rs. 10/- addressed to Administrative Officer, Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine, Jawahar Lal Nehru Anusandhan Bhawan, 61-65, Institutional Area, Opp-D-Block, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058.
Candidates applying for more than one post should send separate applications for each post, otherwise their applications and those received after due date and also such of the applications, which are not supported with the Bank Draft of the requisite amount and attested copies of the certificates and testimonials, are March Advrt. 2013 liable to be rejected. Candidates already employed in any organisation should send their applications through proper channel.
Age relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and physically challenged candidates as per Government of India orders. Candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in India, Bank Draft of Rs.100/- (Rs.20/- in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates) drawn in favour of Director General, CCRUM, payable at New Delhi should accompany the application without which the application will not be entertained.
Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest a right to candidate for being called for interview. The Council may evolve its own criterion to short list the candidates for interview. This may also include an objective type screening test, if considered necessary. The Council reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview. The number of posts may vary. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Original certificates and testimonials should not be sent with the applications, but should be produced at the time of interview.
Candidates called for interview for the said posts will be paid single second class Railway Fare by shortest route, as per rules.
Closing date for receipt of the application (s) at the Council Headquarters is 30 days from the date of publication in the Newspapers.
