The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) has been created as a centre of excellence for higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER, Rae Bareli at ITI campus, Rae Bareli under the mentoring Institute of Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow invites eligible candidates for following positions on purely temporary basis on contract initially for a period of 1 year which can be extended further. The selected candidates shall have no claim for regularization against any regular post either in NIPER or CDRI.
Post: Junior/Senior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for one position of Junior/Senior Research Fellow under a project entitled “Development of Metal-Catalyzed Domino Reactions for the Synthesis of Biaryls Containing Five to Eight Member Ring and its applications in the Synthesis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Natural Products” sponsored by CSIR, New Delhi under the supervision of Dr. Joydev K. Laha. Eligibility, fellowship and applicable HRA of the selected candidate will be governed by the existing CSIR rules for JRF/SRF.
Candidates with relevant experience in the project area will be preferred. The above position is purely temporary initially for one year, extendable up to 2 years based on performance of the candidate and is coterminus with the duration of the project. The walk-in-interview will be held on (October 7th, 2013 from 3 – 4 pm) in Room PT2-103, H-Block of this Institute.
Candidates should bring an application on plain paper, addressed to Director, NIPER with attention Dr. Joydev K. Laha giving details of educational qualification, experience (if relevant) with name of the Institute, post held, etc. Names and contact details of at least two persons, who can be contacted for recommendation, should also be included.
Application should be accompanied by demand draft for Rs. 50/- (Rs. 25/- for SC/ST/PH) in favour of “Director, NIPER”, drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Mohali/Chandigarh.
Reservation of SC/ST and PH is as per GOI rules.
No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
