Osmania University invites Project Associate, Technical Assistant - 3 Posts

Osmania University, established in 1918, is the seventh oldest in India, the third oldest in south India and the first to be established in the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. Applications on prescribed proforma, obtainable from The Director of Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad-500 007, are invited from the suitable candidates to work in a UGC-CPEPA funded Research Project entitled "Bioprospecting of Certain important Medicinal Plants for Health Care" for the following posts.

A. Project Associate (2 posts)
1. Qualification: M. Pharmacy with research experience (lyr) and publications
Desirable: GATE/NET/ OU-Ph.D eligibility test -qualified.
Age Limit: 28 yrs. (Reserved for SC)
Pay Consolidated: Rs. 10, 000/-per month.

2. Qualification: M.Sc Biochemistry (1st class) with research experience
Desirable: GATE/NET/ OU-Ph.D eligibility test -qualified.
Age Limit: 28 yrs. (Open category)
Pay Consolidated: Rs. 10, 000/-per month.

B. Technical Assistant (1 post)
Qualification: B. Sc (Life Sciences) with computer knowledge (MS office)
Desirable: Nil
Age Limit: 28 yrs.
Pay Consolidated: Rs. 8, 000/-per month.

(i) No TA/DA will be paid,
(ii) Applications should be submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- drawn in favor of 'The Registrar, Osmania University, Hyderabad", to the undersigned on or before 10th- Oct-2012. Postal Order will not be accepted.
