Job Description:
The Analytical Chemist (Drug Products) is responsible for the performance of a variety of routine and non-routine physical and chemical tests utilizing laboratory apparatus, including the generation, analysis and recording of data. The scope includes: DP testing, cleaning validation samples testing, preparation work for the whole of QC labs and documentation readiness.
Other responsibilities include:
• Individual is responsible for the testing of the finished dosage forms
• Individual might provide training to other individuals
• Individual is capable of independently trouble shooting analytical and instrument issues.
• Individual is responsible for assuring to the HSA regulations, cGMP’s, Novartis Quality systems, NSPM procedures, HSE policies and company procedures.
• Individuals are responsible for performing the tests, validating the completed work of others, evaluate anomalous results, and conduct laboratory investigations.
• Individuals may develop / review sop’s and perform internal training.
• Individuals may work on projects
• They may assume the responsibility of administrative functions in the absence of the supervisor.
