Employees’ state Insurance Scheme of India, is a multidimensional social system tailored to provide socio-economic protection to worker population and their dependents covered under the scheme. Besides full medical care for self and dependents, that is admissible from day one of insurable employment, the insured persons are also entitled to a variety of case benefits in times of physical distress due to sickness, temporary or permanent disablement etc. resulting in loss of earing capacity, the confinement in respect of insured women, dependents of insured persons who die in industrial accidents or because of employment injury or occupational hazard are entitled to a monthly pension called the dependents benefit.

ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED PARAMEDICAL STAFF ON CONTRACT BASIS
Applications are invited from retired Paramedical persons (On Superannuation) from State/ Central Govt. / ESIC/ Quasi Govt./ Municipal body / Defence of the under mentioned speciality on Contract basis for a period till regular incumbent joins orfor a period of 01 (One) year, whichever is earlier.
AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 65 years as on 30-09-2012.
EMOLUMENTS:
A fixed remuneration of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) subject to the condition that pension plus remuneration should not exceed the last pay including OA drawn by the official at the time of retirement. Conveyance may be reimbursed according to the entitlement prior to the retirement subject to a maximum of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) per month.
The candidates are allowed to avail 01 days leave which will be computed at pro¬rate basis of One day for each completed month of service. Remuneration will be deducted at pro-rate basis for absence beyond this limit. The candidates are not entitled for any other benefit/facility. No TA/DA will be admissible for joining duty. The working hours/shift duty/weekly off of the contractual engagement will be at par with the regular employee of the post in which such arrangement is made.
