Job Description:
1. Addressing ECP and Consumer product related queries and issues in a shortest possible time
2. Manager all activities for the Academy for Eye Care Excellence (CVAECE).
3. Leadership and Support to Sales and Marketing Team
• Provide leadership in the area of professional marketing in India.
• Help ensure that regional marketing strategies are supported and translated country-specific professional marketing programs. This would include a continued ECP edu-cation.
• Participate and lead Professional activities for new product launches.
• Develop a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and how to satisfy consumers.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and deliver effective and integrated professional materials and programs
• Support the sales and marketing teams to optimize the various sales and marketing strategies and programs from a professional services angle.
• Serve as the “face of professional CIBA VISION” in India
4. Information Management
• Ensure a consistent flow of information within CIBA VISION India and the Asia Pa-cific Professional Marketing community.
• Track, report and respond to competitive activities, products and claims.
• Establish document control and sign off for all marketing and sales materials
5. Training
• Ensure that basic technical training and robust product training is available to CIBA VISION internal people – sales force, country professional managers, customer ser-vice staff; External people – ECP and their staff.
• Through the SFE initiative ensure the sales team are technically competent to ad-dress ECP and consumer queries.

4. Representative of CIBA VISION
• Publish contact lens related articles in trade and consumer press including a ECP quarterly newsletter localized for India
• Represent CIBA VISION at key congresses, Opinion Leaders seminars and develop long term relationship with Professional Associations.
5. Regulatory and External Affairs
• Ensure teaching Institute agreements through CVAECE to ensure hands on training availability.
• Manage the regulatory affairs of CIBA VISION to comply with local regulations and laws.
Candidate Profile:
Education (minimum/desirable):
• Ideally, a qualified Optometrist;
• Or a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science / Pharmacy or Business Management
Languages: English and Local language
Experience/Professional requirement:
• 8-10 years professional / industry experience.
• Preferably or ideally a trained Optometrist with a progressive optical business
