Employees State Insurance Scheme of India, is a multidimensional social security system tailored to provide socio-economic protection to worker population and their dependants covered under the scheme. Besides full medical care for self and dependants, that is admissible from day one of insurable employment, the insured persons are also entitled to a variety of cash benefits in times of physical distress due to sickness, temporary or permanent disablement etc. resulting in loss of earning capacity, the confinement in respect of insured women, dependants of insured persons who die in industrial accidents or because of employment injury or occupational hazard are entitled to a monthly pension called the dependants benefit.

Age limit: Not exceeding 32 years. (Relaxable up to 35 years in case of Govt. servant and employees of the ESIC)
Qualification: Degree in Pharmacy / Sr. secondary with Diploma in Pharmacy form a recognized Institution and qualified & registered as Pharmacist Under Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Although the vacancies notified are in ESIC PGIMSR and Model Hospital, Rajajinagar, Bangalore10, only those who are willing to accept the postings any where Specified and are willing to be transferred in any where in India on promotional posts, as per policy of ESIC, need apply.

Important Instructions:

of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep,
the last date for receipt of applications is 30122011 the benefit of extended time will be available only in respect of applications received by post from the above mentioned areas/regions. However the crucial date for determining the eligibility of the candidates will be 15122011 ESI Corporation will not be responsible for postal delays.
g) No TA shall be payable to any candidate including SC/ST candidates for appearing in the written examination. However, TA shall be paid to SC/ST unemployed candidates for appearing in interview as per Govt. of India orders.
h) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Caution: Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
