Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Overall product management responsibility involving the following:
* Analysing the market, competition & conducting market research to identify opportunities, threats & key issues.
* Developing marketing strategies & programs to address key issues.
* Developing innovative & informative promotional programs for augmenting Field Force detailing efforts.
* Controlling & monitoring expenses to maximise return on investment.
* Co-ordinating across the Field Force and other departments to resolve various product related issues from time to time.
* Conduct product training for new Field Personnel & need based refresher programs.
* Tracking, analysing and reviewing the performance of the regions against targets; investigating problems and working with stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Developing marketing plan for new products, line extensions & executing the launch.
* Extensive fieldwork to understand the market, evaluate implementation of strategies and monitor key competitor activities.
* Ensuring that business is conducted in line with Company’s policies, ethical practices, Vision, Mission and Core Values.
* Participating as a team player in the Operating Plan every year.
Qualification
* B.Pharm / MBBS / BE / B Tech / Bsc
* Additional qualifications in Marketing / Business Administration preferred.
Special Skills & Knowledge
* Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical market and competitive environments.
* Leadership skills to motivate a large team of stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess and interpret key market trends and patterns to identify opportunities from a range of information sources.
* Sound understanding of business and management principles
* Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written with the ability to build and develop relationships with internal customers.
