Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine a constitutional establishment of the of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, wishes to recruit Research Associate(s) on temporary basis to work in various sponsored project in the Institute and to make a panel of the selected candidates for future project positions.

Essential Qualification : Ph.D or equivalent in the area of Biological Sciences. (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Molecular Biology/Microbiology) OR Chemical Sciences (Natural Product Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Synthetic Chemistry/Organic Chemistry).
Desirable: Research experience in the area of drug discovery or exploration of medicinal plants and micro flora for value added products.
Age: 35 Years on 18.05.2011 and stipend will be paid @ Rs. 16,000/- P.M. + HRA (if provision is there in the project)
Relaxation of age is admissible for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped categories as per rules. Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of certificate from the concerned District Magistrate in the J&K within whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily been resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt, of J&K to the effect that he/she had ordinarily being domiciled in the J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Age-relaxation in case of women will be applicable for willows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husband.
