The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow is one of the youngest central universities in the country. The jurisdiction of this residential University is over the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. The campus Vidya Vihar is located off Rae Bareli Road, about 10 kms south of the Charbagh Railway Station, Lucknow. The objects of the University IS to promote advanced knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit.

Position available for UGC sponsored project entitled “Isolation characterization and pharmacological screening of antidiabetic bioactive substances from medicinal plants”
Essential Qualification: Master of Pharmacy, Specialization: Pharmaceutical Chemistry (preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates).
Desirable work experience: Experience on analytical chemistry as well as pharmacology. Preference should be given candidate who has experience in handling HPLC, NMR data analysis etc. Candidate should also have experience in animal handling and blood collection.
Emoluments: Rs. 14,000/- p.m. for initial 2 years and Rs. 16,000/- p.m. from the third year onwards & as per UGC norms.
