Title of Research Project: Understanding the Molecular Function of MGRN1 in Chaperone Mediated Autophagy
Area of Research: Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology
Salary: 16000+20%HRA (Indian Rupees)
Qualification & Experience: First class, M.Sc/M.Tech. Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Life Science from a recognized University/Institute. The project work will involve mammalian cell culture, cloning, expression, protein purification, microscopy and any other research related duties assigned as and when required. An aptitude for learning new techniques is a must. Experience of these techniques will be an added advantage. Good communication skills and experimental expertises are essential to work as JRF in the above project. NET (UGC/CSIR), ICMR, DBT or any fellowship qualified students are preferred.

Duration and Important Note: The JRF appointment will be on a purely temporary basis with the project. Current position is open only for one year further extension is possible after satisfactory project review performance. First evaluation will be possible within next six months of project joining.
Age limit: 28 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per Government of India norms. No TA and/or DA will be paid for attending the interview and/or written test. Candidates should make their own arrangements for stay. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post advertised.
