PROFESSOR - (UR) : 01 each in concerned discipline - on Deputation / Direct / Contract Basis in Ilmul Advia, Ilmul Saidla, Kulliyat Umoore Tabiya, Regimenal Therapy , Amraze Niswan wa Ilmul Qabala and Jarahiyat.

Pay Band: 37,400 - 67,000 with Grade Pay of 8,700/- Age: 50 years.

Essential: 1). Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or a Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970. 2). Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline from a University established by Law or a Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970. 3). Teaching experience in a recognized Institution for 10 years. 4). Original published papers / books on the subject. Desirable: 1). Ph.D in Unani. Extensive experience in Research. 2). Atleast 05 years teaching experience in a PG Institution in the concerned subject. 3). Original published work in Unani. 4). Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi/English.

Deputation: From the post of Reader in the scale of " 15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay of " 7,600/- with five years teaching experience in PG Institution in the concerned subject.

READER -(UR) : 01 each in concerned discipline - on Deputation / Direct/ Contract Basis in Ilmul Saidla, Kulliyat Umoore Tabiya, Regimenal Therapy , and Jarahiyat. Pay Band : 15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay of  7,600/- Age: 50 years. Essential: 1). Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law or a statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970. 2). Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline from a recognized University established by Law or a statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970. 3). Teaching experience in a recognized Institution for five years. 4). Original published papers / books on the subject. Desirable: 1). Atleast five years teaching experience in a PG Institution in the concerned subject. 2). Original published work in Unani. 3). Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi / English. Deputation: From the post of Lecturers in the pay scale of " 15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay of " 5,400 with 05 years teaching experience out of which atleast 03 years experience in a PG Institution in the concerned subject.

Retired persons may also be considered for contract appointment up to the age of 70 years provided they fulfill the prescribed qualification

LECTURER - (UR): 02 each in concerned discipline - on Direct / Deputation/ Contract Basis : in Ilmul Saidla, Kulliyat Umoore Tabiya, Regimenal Therapy/ and Jarahiyat

LECTURER - 01 each in Ilmul Advia, Moalajat, Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib and Amraze Niswan wa Qabala against vacancy likely to be arised. Candidates may apply for these posts also on Deputation/ Contract Basis.

Pay Band: 15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay of 5,400/- Age: 40 years

Note: In case, candidates with PG degree in the concerned subject are not available, candidate with PG degree in the allied subject will be eligible with required teaching experience in the concerned discipline, vide Govt. of India gazette notification dated May 28- June 3, 2011.

RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICER: 01-(UR) on Direct / Deputation/ Contract Basis Pay Band: ^N15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay of^N 5,400/- Age: below 40 years Essential: 1) Degree in Unani of a recognized University /Statutory / Faculty / Council/ or equivalent and included in II schedule of CCIM Act, 1970. 2) M.D. /MS Unani, in Clinical subjects. 3). Enrolment on the Central Register of CCIM or State Register of ISM. 4) Knowledge of Arabic/Urdu /Persian.

Deputation: candidate having essential qualification as mentioned above and holding analogous post or five years regular service in the grade of Clinical Registrar / Lecturer in the relevant field or equivalent.

Supporting Staff Posts

STAFF NURSE: - on Contract Basis
Consolidated Salary of " 20,000/- per month Age: 30 years
Essential: 1) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized University & one year experience preferably in Unani Hospitals and Dispensaries in the field. 2) Diploma in Nursing with 03 year experience in the field    3) Registered with Nursing Council of India. Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi / English.

LAB TECHNICIANS: - on Contract Basis
Consolidated Salary of " 20,000/- per month     Age: Below 35 years
Essential: Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Sate Board of Education with two years vocational course in Laboratory Technology of minimum one year duration from recognized University / Institution or Degree in Science with Biology & Chemistry as subjects from a recognized University.
Desirable: Degree in Medical Lab Technology. Knowledge of Hindi / Urdu.

JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER: 01 - (OBC) on Direct Basis
Pay Band: 5,200 - 20,200 with Grade Pay of 2,400/- Age: Below 30 years
Essential: Intermediate or equivalent qualification with a prescribed speed of 40 wpm in typing and 80 wpm in Shorthand and Computer Course.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.

PHARMACIST: 01 - (UR) on Direct Basis
Pay Band: 5,200 - 20,200 with Grade Pay of 2,800/- Age: Below 30 years
Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy with Unani Subject from a recognized State Board of Education. Knowledge of Hindi/ Urdu.

This advertisement supersedes our earlier advertisement/s. Hence the candidates who are eligible as per the recruitment rules of the Institute need to be applied afresh with the stipulated date.

Beside the above the Institute needs to appoint the Lecturers (Sl.No.1-6) in the following allied fields on contract basis for a period of 1 year initially on a consolidated salary of " 30,000/- per month and one Physiotherapist on a consolidated salary of " 20,000/- per month approximately.

Other conditions:
In case of non availability of suitable candidate for any of the above posts, the Selection Committee may fill up it by downgrading the post either on short term contract on a purely temporary arrangement basis or on deputation.

For the person on deputation the age should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date. The persons working in Central / State Govt. / UTs / PSUs / Statutory or Autonomous bodies should submit their applications through proper channel along with up-to-date duly certified CR Dossiers of the last five years along with disciplinary / vigilance clearance and a certificate that the particulars furnished by the officer are correct as per the record held in the office and no case is pending or contemplated against him / her may also be forwarded. Interested and willing candidates may submit an advance copy of the application under intimation to their Cadre-Controlling Officer to avoid delay.

The Employee appointed on Direct Recruitment Basis in the Institute shall be governed by New Pension Scheme of the Govt. presently enforced. Age relaxation for SC / ST and OBC category candidates shall be applicable as per Government of India orders. SC / ST Certificate should be signed by the First Class Magistrate / Equivalent. Candidates applying for more than one post should send separate applications for each post. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date and also such of the applications which are not supported with attested copies of certificates and testimonials, PG teaching experience in concerned discipline clearly not mentioned are liable to be rejected.

Last date of receiving the filled in application is: 16th August 2011. Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right to candidate for being called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to call for interview only those candidates, who in its opinion, are found to be eligible. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

The Institute reserves the right of short listing the eligible candidates to restrict the number of persons for appearing before the Selection Committee.
