Qualification: Ist Class M. Sc. Or M.Sc. Ag. In Botany/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences or related subjects; The candidate must have passed CSIR-UGC NET or ICMR-NET or ASRB-NET (including LS)

Age Relaxation:5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried are allowed age concession up to the age of 35 years. (Up to 40 years for members of SC/STs). No other woman is entitled for such relaxation.
Eligible candidates may appear for "Walk-in-lnterview" on the date, time and place mentioned above. Candidates appearing for "Walk-in-Interview" have to submit an application on the prescribed Performa available at the IHBT website along with attested photocopies of testimonials at the time of interview. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the projects. Candidates must also bring with them original certificates at the time of the appearing for interview failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview. No TA will be paid for attending the interview
