Central Council for Research in Ayurveda & Siddha, an autonomous organization of Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, invites applications for the following posts :-
1) Name of the post No. of vacancies: Research Officer (Chemistry)
02 - OH (Orthopaedically handicapped)
Scale of pay Pay Band-3 of Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Qualifications
1. Post -graduate degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
2. 5 years research/teaching experience in the recognized Institution/College/University.
OR
1. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
2. 3 years research /teaching experience in the concerned discipline in a recognized Institution/College/University.
2) Name of the post Research Officer (Pharmacology)
No. of vacancies: 01 - OH (Orthopaedically handicapped)
Scale of pay: Pay Band-3 of Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Qualifications: Essential :-
1. Post-graduate degree in Pharmacology/Drug Assay or M.V.Sc. degree from a recognized University/Institution.
2. 3 years research/teaching experience in Pharmacology after obtaining the degree in a recognized Hospital/Institution.
OR
1. Doctorate degree in Pharmacology of minimum 2 years duration from a recognized University/Institution.
3) Name of the post Research Officer (Botany)
No. of vacancies: 02 - OH (Orthopaedically handicapped)
Scale of pay: Pay Band-3 of Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Essential:
1. Post graduate degree in Botany from a recognized University/Institution.
2. 5 years Research /Teaching experience in Botany after obtaining the degree in a recognized Institution/College/University.
OR
1. Ph.D in Botany from a recognized University/Institution.
2. 3 years Research/Teaching experience in Botany in a recognized Institution/College/University.
Age for all the above posts is not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2010. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government of India (DoPT) orders. No age bar for CCRAS employees.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE SERVICE:-
1. These posts are temporary but likely to continue. Fresh appointees shall be governed by New Pension Scheme. The candidates selected will be on probation for two years and is transferable anywhere in India under the Council's Institutes/Centres/Units.

3. The application for the above posts is to be submitted within 30 days from the date of advertisement. The applications received after due date will not be considered under any circumstances.
4. Persons already in service must submit their applications through proper channel. While forwarding applications of in-service candidates, Heads of Institutions should certify that the applicants are free from Administrative and Vigilance angle and that no vigilance proceedings are pending or contemplated. Photocopies of ACRs dossier of the candidate(s) for the last five years may also be forwarded along with application in sealed covers.
5. Selection will be based on the performance in written test and interview. Only candidates who fulfill the requirement as per advertisement will be called for written test.
6. Late applications/incomplete applications/interim enquiries will not be entertained.
7. Candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd Class Rail fare by shortest route on production of documents.
8. Canvassing in any form by or on behalf of any candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to selection /recruitment will disqualify the candidate.
9. CCRAS reserves the right to either fill-up all the posts or some of the posts or none of them without assigning any reason.
