Work as Research Assistant, Technical Assistant in Shivaji University

Shivaji University, established in 1962, is named after the Great Maratha Warrior and founder of the Maratha empire Chhatrapati Shivaji. It was inaugurated on 18th November, 1962 by Dr. Radhakrishnan, the then President of India. One of the major objectives behind foundation of this University was to cater to the regional needs of South Maharashtra. The jurisdiction of the University is spread over three districts viz. Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara with strength of about 2,00,000 students studying in 225 affiliated colleges and recognised institutes.

Post: Research  Assistant, Technical  Assistant

Applications are invited on plain paper alongwith the detail Bio-data i.e., full name, address, date of birth, academic qualifications, experience, present position and pay, for the following vaccant posts to be filled inn, in the University Departments under DST-PURSE Scheme. The said appointment will be made on purely temporary basis upto 26/06/2014. The applications should reach to Concerned Department, Shivaji University, Kolhapur on or before 25/07/2013.

Minimum Qualification:-
1) For Research Assistant: M.Sc. B+ with relevant subject. Preference will be given to NET/SET candidates.
2) For Technical Assistant: Any Graduate with Diploma in Computer Science or Three years Diploma in Computer Engineering . (Offered by The Board of Technical Education)

Age limit at the time:
For post No.1: Open candidates 28 years and for of application Reserved candidates 33 years.
For post No.2 : Open candidates 33 years and for Reserved candidates 38 years.

Instructions:
1) Candidates belonging to reserved category outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as OPEN.
2) If candidate of particular reserved category is not available the other candidate will be considered.
