Applications are invited for the post of a Project Assistant (temporary position till the project is supported) under CSIR-OSDD funded research project.
Position: Project Assistant
No. of Positions: 1
Pay: Rs. 16,000/- per month + 20% HRA for one year, extended after successful assessment by review committee.
Responsibilities: Gene cloning, in vitro assay development, protein purification. Screening of chemical molecules/peptides. Book keeping and maintenance of stocks and consumables related to the project.
Essential Qualifications: M.Tech Biotechnology from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis / dissertation carried out in a reputed scientific institution.
Desirable: Hands on experience with Mycobacteria and basic microbiology techniques. Practical experience in gene cloning, assay development and protein purification will be an added advantage.
